Legal details
Legal notice, terms of sale and privacy policy for your shop. Without them, no event can be published.
You sell your tickets yourself, so buyers need to know who they're dealing with. Your details appear in your shop's legal notice, buyers agree to your terms of sale in the checkout, and your privacy policy is linked there. As long as required details are missing, you can't publish an event.
Where to enter them
Open Settings → Legal. The top of the page lists what's still missing. Owners and admins can make changes.

Required details
| Detail | Note |
|---|---|
| Legal name | The official name you sell under, such as "Kulturhaus am Fluss gGmbH" or "Southside Street Festival Ltd" |
| Address | Street, city and country. Postal code and region are optional because not every country has them. |
| Contact email | Shown in the legal notice and order emails. Buyers write here with questions. |
| Terms of sale | In your shop's default language, as text or a link |
| Privacy policy | In your shop's default language, as text or a link |

Finally, click Save legal details. Once all required details are in, View them in your shop shows you the result in your shop.
Terms and privacy policy as text or link
For both, choose under Provide as:
- Text in the shop: Paste the text directly, with subheadings, lists and links. The shop shows it on its own page.
- Link to my website: If the texts are already on your website, just enter the address.
If your shop is available in several languages, you can translate the texts too. Where a translation is missing, buyers see the version in your default language.
Optional details
Depending on your legal form and country, these may be required: Authorised representatives, Register entry, VAT number, phone, website and Additional legal notice, for example about your supervisory authority or dispute resolution.
Right of withdrawal
What applies depends on your workspace's country. The Right of withdrawal section says what's true for your country, and the shop shows the right notice by itself. In many countries, including those in the EU, tickets for events on a fixed date are exempt from the right of withdrawal. If you offer returns anyway, describe them in a note of your own.
